Andrew Gibbs is the founder and CEO of Halifax New Zealand. Andrew has been involved in the financial markets in New Zealand and overseas since 2001 working for one of the largest Wealth Management Firms in NZ until 2005 and in 2008 set up Halifax New Zealand. Andrew has extensive experience in all forms of equity and derivative contracts. Andrew holds a Degree in Economics & Accounting, a NZX Diploma, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment and is an ASX Level 2 Derivatives Adviser.
Tracey Gibson is the Compliance Manager of Halifax New Zealand. Tracey has over 20 years’ experience in risk management ranging from internal audit to risk management and compliance in the government and financial services sectors both in New Zealand and the UK. Tracey holds a degree in Internal Auditing and Management Theory.
Roger has been actively involved with the futures and share markets since the mid 1980’s. He was a registered SYCOM trader from 1993–1995 while working with Ord Westpac Futures Ltd in Sydney. He returned to New Zealand in 1996 and worked for Ord Minnett Jardine Fleming Futures Ltd before joining Halifax in 2015. This broad background to the financial markets with exposure to derivatives, currencies and equities enables Roger to advise on all Halifax range of trading products with the past few years focusing on CFDs.
Robert holds a Sales and Support role in Halifax.
With his extensive background exposure to financial markets and in depth knowledge of Halifax Trading Platforms and online trading, Robert is ideally suited to advise on the appropriate trading platform and trading systems to achieve your investment objectives. Robert holds a Commerce degree from Otago, ASX Level 2 Derivatives and is applying to be an Authorised Financial Adviser.
Ricardo Garrido is a Senior Client Advisor at Halifax New Zealand in Auckland specialising in stocks, options and CFDs, and providing general advice in futures, fixed interest, and foreign exchange. Ricardo has 25 years investment experience having worked overseas for Merrill Lynch, Mortgage Broking and C&T Global Futures.
Michael has 21 years of experience working as a stockbroker and investment advisor since 1996. Michael has a Ph.D degree in math, a NZX Diploma, and an Australian Derivative Advisor level1 certificate. Michael specialises in stock picking utilising both fundamental and technical analysis helped with broad picture perspectives.
